Este programa de concierto, centrado, en clave femenina, en la poes\u00eda y m\u00fasica de la Espa\u00f1a del Renacimiento<\/strong>, tiene como protagonistas a las poetisas m\u00e1s tempranas en lengua castellana –Santa Teresa de Jes\u00fas, pero tambi\u00e9n Florencia Pinar, Sor Ana de Jes\u00fas y Sor Mar\u00eda de San Jos\u00e9, Isabel de Vega, Juana de Arteaga\u2026<\/strong>– Junto a una selecci\u00f3n de la m\u00fasica de los compositores y de los cancioneros de su tiempo, incluimos la de una mujer, Gracia Baptista<\/strong>, considerada la primera compositora europea con obra publicada.<\/p>\n

Este programa emplea adem\u00e1s una pr\u00e1ctica musical habitual en la \u00e9poca -el contrafactum-, para incorporar textos de Santa Teresa sobre algunas de las piezas del programa.<\/p>\n

La figura de la Virgen Mar\u00eda ha venido a ser, a lo largo de la historia musical, una suerte de cantus firmus, como inspiraci\u00f3n de m\u00faltiples y variadas composiciones. En la Espa\u00f1a de los siglos XV y XVI, adem\u00e1s de constituir la tem\u00e1tica de misas y motetes de los m\u00e1s destacados compositores -Victoria, Guerrero, Morales…- la devoci\u00f3n mariana adopta la forma m\u00e1s costumbrista del villancico religioso.\u00a0Estos ensalzan con gran frecuencia a Mar\u00eda como madre del Ni\u00f1o y su condici\u00f3n de Virgen, describiendo escenas cotidianas de la infancia de Jes\u00fas, pero tambi\u00e9n aludiendo al sacrificio que este realizar\u00e1 en la Pasi\u00f3n y a la pena que ello causar\u00e1 a su madre, y cantando en otras ocasiones la gloria de su Asunci\u00f3n y Coronaci\u00f3n como reina de los cielos.
Este programa re\u00fane esta variedad de tem\u00e1ticas y g\u00e9neros musicales en las piezas de tem\u00e1tica mariana que hemos incluido, procedentes de las principales fuentes musicales hispanas de esta \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n

Elogio de las infantas<\/span><\/h1>\n

De los cinco hijos que tuvieron los Reyes Cat\u00f3licos cuatro fueron mujeres y todas llegaron a ser reinas, destinadas como estaban a servir a los fines pol\u00edticos de los monarcas a trav\u00e9s de sus matrimonios. El presente programa centra su mirada sobre estas infantas, tomando como hilo conductor el recitado del <\/span>Epithalamium<\/span><\/i>, poema nupcial escrito por Antonio de Nebrija con motivo de la boda de la infanta Isabel y el pr\u00edncipe Alfonso de Portugal. Otras obras laudatorias de las infantas procedentes de la literatura humanista espa\u00f1ola (Luis Vives, Francesc Eiximenis\u2026) acompa\u00f1an el repertorio del programa, integrado por famosas piezas musicales presentes en los cancioneros de las cortes castellana y aragonesa, inglesa, portuguesa y flamenca en el momento de las nupcias de las infantas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Este programa constituye una lectura en clave femenina del Renacimiento musical espa\u00f1ol m\u00e1s espiritual (Antonio de Cabez\u00f3n, Tom\u00e1s Luis de Victoria, Crist\u00f3bal de Morales, Francisco Guerrero…) mediante su contextualizaci\u00f3n con la obra de una insigne creadora del Siglo de Oro: Santa Teresa de Jes\u00fas (1515-1582), representante de la literatura m\u00edstica que floreci\u00f3 en Espa\u00f1a durante los siglos XVI y XVII.
Tomando como eje la extraordinaria trayectoria de la santa de \u00c1vila, y conjugando el recitado de sus poes\u00edas con m\u00fasica religiosa de su \u00e9poca relacionada tem\u00e1ticamente con ellas, trazamos un imaginario recorrido vital a trav\u00e9s de las diferentes facetas de la vida religiosa. Incluimos, adem\u00e1s, como parte de esta mirada femenina, la \u00fanica obra conservada de la compositora espa\u00f1ola Gracia Baptista (fl. 1557).<\/p>\n

La mujer creadora en la Edad Moderna<\/span><\/h3>\n

Estas palabras con las que Maddalena Casulana (c. 1544 – c. 1590) dedica su primer <\/span>libro de madrigales dan testimonio de las dificultades a las que deb\u00edan enfrentarse en\u00a0<\/span>su \u00e9poca las mujeres que trataban de ejercer la profesi\u00f3n musical. Casos como el de\u00a0<\/span>Casulana o el de Vittoria Aleotti (c. 1575 – 1646) hacen que se pueda hablar de los\u00a0<\/span>primeros pasos en la emancipaci\u00f3n femenina en el Renacimiento. El programa que\u00a0<\/span>presentamos incluye piezas de estas dos compositoras. Incluimos, adem\u00e1s, la \u00fanica obra\u00a0<\/span>conservada de la compositora espa\u00f1ola Gracia Baptista (fl. 1557). Asimismo, ponemos la obra de estas compositoras\u00a0<\/span>en relaci\u00f3n con la de otras dos grandes mujeres creadoras del Renacimiento; en este\u00a0<\/span>caso, pertenecientes a la literatura espa\u00f1ola y valenciana: Santa Teresa de Jes\u00fas y Sor\u00a0<\/span>Isabel de Villena.<\/span><\/p>\n

Este programa rinde homenaje a Germana de Foix, reina consorte de Arag\u00f3n,\u00a0 virreina de Valencia y figura relevante en la revuelta de las German\u00edas.\u00a0<\/span>A trav\u00e9s de un recorrido musical por su vida junto a algunas pinceladas literarias que hacen referencia a momentos claves de su historia, podemos revivir su esplendoroso mecenazgo cultural enmarcado en el \u201cSiglo de oro valenciano\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Este programa reivindica la figura de sor Isabel de Villena (1430-1490), abadesa del convento de la Sant\u00edsima Trinidad de las Clarisas de Valencia y primera escritora conocida en valenciano, mediante la recreaci\u00f3n musical de su obra Vita Christi<\/em>. El eje vertebrador lo constituye el recitado de escenas escogidas de esta narraci\u00f3n del Nuevo Testamento desde el punto de vista femenino que constituye la Vita Christi<\/em>, alternando con piezas musicales de la \u00e9poca y el entorno que hacen referencia a la tem\u00e1tica de cada escena. En definitiva, la combinaci\u00f3n que hace este proyecto de recitado y m\u00fasica consigue impregnar por completo al oyente de la esencia cultural del Siglo de Oro valenciano.<\/p>\n
